A Little About Leah

Leah moved to Traralgon in 2001 with her young family and quickly became part of the local community. Over the years, she’s held various committee roles, including in Gormandale, and is well-known for organizing the Latrobe City People’s Choice Awards and serving as Treasurer of the Latrobe City Tourism Association.

Her Journey Into Teaching

Her journey into teaching began when her two sons reached driving age. Later, during the pandemic, Leah worked as a VICROADS licence tester to help clear testing backlogs, where she discovered a passion for supporting learner drivers and instructors. After returning briefly to her accounting career, she was encouraged by parents struggling to find lessons to start Traralgon Driving School.

Drive with Confidence, Shift with Ease

Leah’s favorite part of her job is teaching manual driving—guiding students from their first “bunny hops” to confidently mastering gear changes and hill starts. She holds a Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Driver Training and brings years of experience, along with a deep local knowledge of the area from her time as a VICROADS licence tester in Morwell and Sale.
